​Day 1 - Saturday March 28, 2020

Everyone flies into Sao Paulo-Guarulhos Airport (GRU).

Airport pick-up between 9 am and 5 pm. Shuttle will take everyone directly to the hotel in the mountain top town of Campos De Jordao!

The first evening will simply be a gathering at dinner for a brief orientation and meeting followed by a relaxing evening on the outside deck of the hotel (Pousada Alto da Boa Vista) with a laser guided tour of the visible constellations and stars! (weather permitting)

​Day 2 - Sunday March 29, 2020

The day begins in Campos De Jordao with a morning visit to the serene botanical gardens  of Amantikir Park, the gardens where intended to pay a sincere homage to the mountain's true values and its exuberant nature.
The remainder of the day will be exploring the rest of Campos De Jordao. This amazing Place is one of the highest cities of Brazil and is decorated with German architecture!

Day 2 - Sunday March 29, 2020, Cont'd

In the afternoon we will hop on our bus and cruise to the town of Paraty! This 2 to 3  hour cruise through the country side will be a great way to see natural Brazil and learn the history and see the way of life here. We will stop along the way at places of interest for coffee or snacks and beautiful views!

Arrive in Paraty late afternoon. After dinner we will hope on a schooner to explore one of the of the nearby islands off the coast for a beach bonfire  while relaxing under the stars with a laser guided tour of the constellations and stars! ( weather permitting)
Paraty has 65 islands off its coast of different sizes and some are completely uninahabited!


Paraty is a small seaside town backed by mountains on Brazil's Costa Verde, between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Its Portuguese colonial center has cobbled streets and 17th- and 18th-century buildings dating to its time as a port, during the Brazilian Gold Rush.

​Day 3 - Monday March 30, 2020

​We will explore Paraty in the morning and afternoon. Our options are many but will include visits to museums, the historical town center and waterfalls!

​Late afternoon we will hop on the bus again and head toward the town of Petropolis!

We arrive in Petropolis and settle into our hotel and for the evening we will take an evening bus cruise through this town beautiful mountain region to get a glimpse at the architecture and culture and learn some history!

Day 4 - Tuesday March 31, 2020

This will be a quiet day of exploration, from shops to cafes to museums to waterfalls in this beautiful mountain city of Petropolis. This city was the former home of Brazil’s last emperor, Pedro II, it played a significant role in the country’s imperial past and traces of the history are evident throughout the city. Highlights include historical architecture, fascinating museums (including a wax museum), long forest trails, and a Brazilian beer factory with guided tours and tastings.

In the afternoon we hope on the bus to our next destination, the town of Buzios! Another cruise through the country side to get to Buzios, exploring and discovering along the way!

Day 4 - Tuesday March 31, 2020, Cont'd

Arrive at our hotel in Buzios late afternoon. Have dinner and take a bus cruise through town to see the beautiful cobble stone pathways to restaurants and shops!

Day 5 - Wednesday April 1, 2020

​Buzios is a seaside town known as an escape from the city and a worldwide tourist site. Buzios is steeped in history and culture. Buzios is know as the "Little Europe" of Brazil!

e will visit amazing beaches and walk through the cobblestone streets for food and shopping!

Day 6 - Thursday April 2, 2020

Crystal, Rio. Here we will visit the iconic Christ The Redeemer Statue! This statue has breathtaking views of the city of Rio De Janaro.
We will also take a gondola ride up to the peak of the other iconic attraction in Barazil, the Sugar Loaf! After a fantastic day in Rio, we will take our bus back to Buzios to wind down the day.

Day 7 - Friday April 3, 2020

Bus will transport everyone to the airport between 8 am and 3 pm. This is Rio De Janeiro International Airport (GIG).

Stargazing! ​We will keep open the option for stargazing on every evening that offers clear enough skies. Since we will be in the southern hemisphere, the stars we see will be completely different than what we see in the northern hemisphere. The stargazing program will be about 1 hour under the stars. Your astronomer will guide you through the constellations and brighter stars using a laser pointer! The southern hemisphere is known best for the  famous Southern Cross constellation!
